Réponses et questions fréquentes
How to enter the configuration mode?
To enter the configuration mode, push the button for more than 3 seconds. The display will show alternately 0 and PASS. Then, use the and/or buttons to set the programmed password (default is 30).
How to exit the configuration mode?
To exit the configuration mode, press the button for more than 5 seconds. The instrument will come back to the "standard display".
How to load factory default parameters?
To load the factory default parameters, follow these steps: 1. Push the button for more than 5 seconds. 2. Using the and buttons, set the value -481. 3. Push the button again. The instrument will turn OFF all LEDs, show "dFLt" message, then turn ON all LEDs for 2 seconds, and restart as at the first power ON.
What are the mounting requirements for this controller?
The controller is intended for permanent installation, indoor use only, in an electrical panel that encloses the rear housing, exposed terminals, and wiring on the back. Select a mounting location with the following characteristics: 1. Easily accessible; 2. Minimum vibrations and no impacts; 3. No corrosive gases; 4. No water or other fluid (condensation); 5. Ambient temperature 0... 50°C; 6. Relative humidity 20... 85%.
What are the general notes about wiring?
- Do not run input wires together with power cables; 2. External components (e.g., zener barriers) connected between sensor and input terminals may cause errors; 3. Connect a shielded cable to one point only; 4. Pay attention to the line resistance; 5. Connect power last; 6. Use No 16 AWG or larger wires rated for 75°C; 7. Use copper conductors only; 8. Before connecting to power line, ensure line voltage is equal to the voltage on the identification label; 9. The power supply input is not fuse protected, provide a T type 1A, 250V fuse externally.

How to program alarms on a K48 instrument?
Access configuration mode and modify alarm parameters. Alarm configuration is password-protected (level 3).
How to perform a reading correction on a K48 instrument?
For linear inputs, adjust parameters '[4] SSc' (Initial scale read-out) and '[5] FSc' (Full scale read-out). Temperature input calibration follows EN 60751/A2 (for RTD Pt100) and EN 60584-1 (for thermocouples). RTD Pt100 line resistance compensation is automatic (up to 20Ω/wire, with a maximum error of ±0.1% of the input range). For thermocouples, use appropriate (preferably shielded) compensation cable.
